A little show

Sorry for the half-assed post, but here's a really cool light display that this guy is putting on for Christmas.

Deck the Halls anyone?

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!
...and a happy Boxing Day for everyone in Canada!

We will be sour, bitter, bruised, and battered, but will keep standing, bitching, criticising, and complaining through it all.

Good and Evil

Once, a mother and her young son were walking in the woods. The boy, being overly energetic, was misbehaving; thus, his mother scolded him harshly and punishe dhim. The young child then angrily started screaming at his mother: "I hate you, I hate you..." Within moments, his own words "I hate you, I hate you..." were resounding through the forest. Frightened by the echo, the boy ran into his mother's arms and informed her of the evil person who was yelling, "I hate you, I hate you..."
The prudent mother responded in this way: "Shout 'I love you.'" As the boy repeated these words, the echo began to do the same. The evil person immediately became good and began to respond, "I love you, I love you." The mother took the opportunity to tell her child that when he is good, then others around him will seem good as well.

George Costanza's Words of Wisdom

"The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A death. What's that, a bonus?!?! I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you go live in an old age home. You get kicked out for being too healthy, go collect your pension, then, when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day. You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You drink alcohol, you party, and you get ready for high school. You go to primary school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities. You become a little baby, you go back, spend your last 9 months floating with luxuries like central heating, spa, room service on tap, then you finish off as an orgasm! Amen." - George Costanza

A drunken post about nothing

I write this "Coming Back" post as I'm drunk, so pardon any spelling mistakes, or syntax errors that I may make.

My friend Shewhomakesmencry and I went out to a local bar tonight. Here are the sequence of events:

1) We pull into the parking lot of the bar and notice that it looks pretty empty and shady. We think, what the hell, we're here, let's give it a go. So we walk towards the door.

2) Here I am tugging on the door and it won't open. I'm wondering what's going on, and then a GORGEOUS MAN opens the door for me. And here I am feeling all stupid and "blonde."

3) My friend knew that there was a sign on the door that said please enter through side door, but failed to tell me. She had a good laugh about that all night.

4) It was karaoke night and I needed more than 1 beer in me to survive.

5) The beer goggles took over and I thought some of the men in the bar were really good looking. Especially the one eyed man with the wooden leg. (Don't worry folks, I'm kidding. Or am I?)

6) My friend dared me to sing a song, and for doing so, promised to pay me $10 and get me the hot bar-back's number.
UPDATE: I still have some dignity, self-respect, and pride, so I voted against embrassing myself.

7) I saw an Alchie lookalike which scared the hell out me. I almost dove under our table to avoid him, but apparently Shewhomakesmencry ensured me that it wasn't him.

8) Alchie and one of his croonies asked us as we were leaving the bar why we didn't sing. After that, I knew it wasn't him, but oddly felt horny.

9) Pumped gas into the car and thought the Indian guy running the gas station was hot.

10) Came home, writing an update in the blog, and going to crash.

That was my night-o-fun. I've been under immense stress with school, assignments, exams etc. But now that it's all over with, I'm going to let loose, for another day, and then get back to the grind. My profs assigned me homework over the break which isn't going to get done on its own.

Anyways, hope everyone out there in the blogging world is doing well. I promise to catch up on my commenting very soon. Be good ya'll.
