A pick-me-up email

I received this great email from a friend and I thought I would share.
My new motto takes care of all the stress that may be building up.
Handle every situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it. Piss on it and walk away.

Manolo Knock-offs

I have this really sick obsession with a silver pair of Manolo Blahnik Sedaraby D'Orsay shoes.

Aren't they beautiful!?! I've been looking around for a pair of shoes that are similar to those for a long time, and about three weeks ago, I finally found a pair. (You can probably see where this post is going.) I went into the store, I tried on the shoes, and they were golden! Upon further inspection of the shoes, I noticed some black scuff marks on the backside of the shoe. I kindly asked the sales associate if she could bring me out another pair. She went inside the backroom, checked, and told me there were none but that they would be able to order some in for me. I readily agreed. I waited for a little over two weeks for the shoes, and they finally came in! I went to go pick them up today and here they are, making their debut appearance!

Besides the colour, I think they're a pretty good match to the real thing. What do ya'll think?

Crazy, hectic times

It's been such a busy couple of weeks. Scholarship applications, work, school, homework, men. Sheesh. A girl can never catch a break can she? Let's get to business shall we?
First off, I've been busting my balls, as is PinkPolish, to complete scholarship applications so that we can get some sort of funding for next year. It's next to impossible to get these scholarships, but we're gonna try anyways. There's no sense in just sitting back and doing nothing right? Trying to complete these apps, and getting reference letters, and making sure that we're all caught up with our school work is proving to be difficult. There's so much junk that needs to be done and there's not enough time to do it.
As for men, well, they just need their own paragraph. Actually, the word 'men' is a little misleading, it should be 'man.' There was this one guy at work, MilanoBoy, (of course he's Italian) who was just so adorable that I had to give him my number. Needless to say, the asswipe didn't call me even though we had a great lunch date. I use the term date loosely because lunch isn't really a date. Is it? It was a bit disappointing, but oh well, you roll with the punches.
In addition to that, I've also ordered a new pair of shoes. They make me feel all warm and tingly inside. HOWEVER, I have been waiting for nearly 2 weeks now and have yet to meet my new shoes. I'm very upset. Other than that, I got nothing. Peace out ya'll.

Empty

I've started watching this show called Dexter about a sociopath. Dexter Morgan kills people who deserve it and feels nothing. He's completely void of emtion. How does that happen? It made me wonder, what would it feel like to be emotionless?

The girls are back in town!

Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to announce that the girls are back in town! Charlotte, Carrie, Miranda, and Samantha are all on board to create the Sex and the City movie which is currently in production in New York City! The release date they're giving on one website is May 2008. I haven't been this excited since...well...since I don't even know when!
I can't wait to see how thing shape up between Big and Carrie, how Charlotte and the baby-making stuff is going, how Miranda and Steve are coping with Brady and Brooklyn, and how Samantha is doing with a really hot Smith. Hopefully this movie will provide fans with a great send-off and some closure. I can't wait!
